During the Christmas holidays, the Safety Museum Pit in Almere has something extra ’ s, namely a LEGO fire exhibition. In addition to the LEGO there is also a puzzle tour, you can skate here and the museum serves pea soup and hot chocolate for a completely winter day out!

Success exhibition this Christmas holiday

Due to last year’s success, the LEGO exhibition fire brigade will be repeated this Christmas holiday with new incidents and a new puzzle tour. As a result, visitors of all ages discover in an interactive way what comes with the work of the fire brigade. In the exhibition, more than 100.000 Lego stones used.

But there is much more to do for children.

In addition to the LEGO fire brigade, there is much more to do for children in the Safety Museum Pit. Discover the history of the Dutch police, fire brigade and ambulance together with your children. How used to work? In which vehicles did they drive to the crime scene?

And in which uniforms they walked around at the time? During this educational day out, your children learn everything about the safety of the past, now and in the future.

What is the Safety Museum Pit?

Safety Museum Pit falls under the Stichting National Security Institute (NVI). The NVI is the platform for historical heritage that relates to safety and assistance in the Netherlands.

The Fire Department Lego exhibition can be seen during the Christmas holidays from December 23, 2017 to January 7, 2018 at Safety Museum Pit in Almere. Pit is closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve the museum closes at 16.00 hours. On the other days the museum is open from 11:00 to 17:00.

The exhibition is free of charge for visitors at possession of a valid access card for PIT or a Museum Card.
